Letter from the Editor: Things to be thankful for this Holiday Season!!!

I was thinking about gratitude the other day ( I often ponder random philosophical thoughts at Green Green Car Co!) and I realized that I have not been very good at it. In fact, environmentalists, greenies, whatever you want to call us, tend to focus on the negative. It is the nature of our cause. With global warming, pollution, and dependency on foreign oil on your mind, it can be a downright downer at times! So for my New Years Resolution , I have decided to start focusing on the positive. I hope you will too. A wise person told me to make regular lists of what I am grateful for so here is my rather random much abbreviated list:

  • A new President, however imperfect, who is very proactive in alternative energy
  • The impending arrival of new electric cars like the Nissan Leaf
  • King County Bus #550 that allows me to go to downtown Seattle from Bellevue in 30 minutes and not have to hassle with parking
  • My new electric bike that has helped me get in better shape this year
  • Growth of our sales of biodiesel and other cars—people still care and are not waiting around for the “perfect green car”
  • My 8 year old daughter who will never have to drive a gas guzzler.
  • And of course, last but certainly not least, my amazing clients and newsletter subscribers who have supported this whole crazy company and its idealistic mission!

How about you? What are you going to be grateful for this year? Peace and Blessings to ALL!!!
