The Green Car Company is a Net Zero Contributor to Global Warming!

Our company’s operations produce Carbon Dioxide due to the electricity we use to light and heat our building and due to the impact associated with transporting our vehicles to our location.

To offset the Carbon Dioxide from our electricity use we subscribe to Puget Sound Energy’s Green Power program which insures that a quantity of renewable energy (Solar and Wind) equal to what we have consumed is added to the electricity grid.

To offset the Carbon Dioxide from transporting vehicles all over the country we purchase Renewable Energy Credits from Bonneville Environmental Foundation. B-E-F is a non-profit R.E.C. trader that uses its revenues to build new wind and solar projects here in the Northwest.
